For autumn/winter ‘18, Edward Sexton is offering a richer variety of accessories and shirts than ever before. Our signature classical colour palette of navy, RAF blue, forest green and burgundy is complimented with more earthy tones this season, which add a contemporary, understated quality to a tailored look. Our superior seven-fold ties from Bigi Cravatte come in a new range of designs in mottled tussah silk, and make for worthy long-term wardrobe investments, whether plain, spotted or striped. Our seasonal three-fold ties are likewise woven and made in Italy, and compliment our seven-folds with a clear emphasis on softness of texture. Our signature pin and tab collar shirts have been retained in timeless Sexton colours; soft white, cream, sky blue and Bengal-striped.
As well, we also have four new styles of our new-season Hollywood-tops. The result of over a year of research and development, we wanted to introduce a relaxed, chic tailored trouser with a smooth, versatile fit. An accurate reproduction of a trouser style that was popular in the 1930s, they’re cut without a waistband and with generous, flowing legs – all of which makes them an appropriate design for our first foray into ready-to-wear. In three chic shades of woollen flannel, they look great with tailored sports coats, chunky knits or casual bomber jackets alike and are exceptionally comfortable to wear.
As always, we hope that customers will value the care and attention that has gone into the sourcing of our autumn/winter collection. Every piece is considered and offers a touch of classical masculine elegance, created in workshops which share our philosophy. All are designed to contribute to an aesthetic that reflects our house style and preferred mode of dress – creating an authentic, comfortable ‘Sexton look.’
