White Linen Blend Double-Breasted Suit
Description
Boasting a beautiful drape and all the character of linen without being too creasy, we loved this cloth so much we have used it to created two suits, in two styles.
The White summer suit is synonymous with Sexton. Super chic and incredibly easy to style as either separates or as a full suit, the white suit is a guaranteed head-turner. With connotations of both rock n roll extravagance and classic sartorial menswear, this suit is the king of versatility.
Wear the full suit with either our new Oxford bag trousers, or our classic Heritage trousers. Pair with a pale blue shirt and silk reppe stripe tie for classy summer suiting incarnate.
Wear the jacket with our Navy linen trousers and a bengal stripe shirt for classic summer look. Swap the navy linen for our Black parallels and terracotta silk shirt to ooze rock n roll. The possibilities are endless.

This shapely approach to tailoring also filters through to our double-breasted models, which come in two complementary styles. Perhaps our best-known cut is the timeless Signature Double-Breasted jacket, which has four buttons to fasten and two ‘show buttons’ on the chest. A personal favourite of Edward’s, double-breasted jackets like this lend stature and a touch of authority to the wearer, but can nonetheless still create a playful impression in bold colours, soft textures.

With roots dating back to the 1920's these trousers began life as a comfortable garment for students of Oxford university, before finding their place as a staple in 40's swing dance halls, and again in 1970's soul movements. With heritage running through from old school university wealth to dance and music, these trousers are truly a little piece of history.

A carefully balanced blend of 58% Linen and 42% Wool, boasting the cooling benefits of both fibres, whilst resisting excessive creasing and adding a subtle texture
