New to our Spring/Summer collection, these striking gabardine trousers are cut with high-rise ‘parallel’ legs, true to the trousers Edward cut at Nutter’s of Savile Row in the early 1970s. Mick Jagger wore our parallels, so did Elton John, Justin de Villeneuve, and The Beatles. The legs aren’t flared, but are cut with straight lines to fall from the hips, which gives the impression of a subtle flare when walking – especially when finished with our preferred two-inch turn-ups. Two fob-flap pockets on the front are another nod to Edward’s 1970s trousers; un-button the flaps and wear like jeans when the mood takes you.
Airforce Blue Gaberdine Parallel Leg Trousers
In soft, smooth wool gabardine, these trousers have an elegant finish. With their low rise to sit on the hips and side adjusters, they’re a sharp design to wear during the warmer months. In airforce blue, these are a sophisticated choice – wear with a soft cream or dusty pink linen shirt, or with a Sexton chambray hidden button-down shirt and a double-breasted beige linen jacket.
