To complement the dusty summer vibes of the Teracota, we have cut this cloth on our drape jacket block. With the slightly softer shoulder lines and more roomy chest area, the jacket is elegant and understated.

As well as looking summery, you will also feel the refreshing benefit of both the breathable linen blend and the fuller-cut jacket providing room for airflow.

Match the jacket to the trousers of the same cloth for a full summer-suit, or try wearing with a darker blue trouser; such as our Navy linen blend or our denim flares for off-duty summer cool.

The Drape Jacket,is inspired by the slightly softer and rounder jackets Edward first cut at Kilgour in the 1960s. Subtly extended shoulders with soft pads and a rich chest contribute to a jacket feeling supremely comfortable. We like to cut drape jackets in smooth gabardine, plush corduroy and heavy Irish linen – cloths that will change the character and improve with age. We also add a second button to our drape jackets to help balance their generous chest and shoulder line.

Cut on our our classic trouser block, this beautiful linen and wool blend cloth lends itself to a perfect summer trouser. With the fuller cut and light, breathable fabric, these trousers are comfortable and easy.

Unusual in tone, the cloth picks out brown and pinks depending on the light. Both of these neutral hues match effortlessly with a variety of colours, which makes styling the trousers with your current wardrobe a breeze. Or, match with the drape jacket of the same cloth for full summer suit regalia.

Our classic gentlemen’s trouser developed in 2023 is clean and close around the top but fuller through the knee and hem. This trouser is both comfortable and timelessly elegant, and with its 2” waistband with a long extension and side adjusters, it sits beautifully on an elegant show or rests naturally on a trainer.
