Tan Classic Trousers
Description
Clean, fresh, and quietly confident - this tan wool has a subtle twill weave that gives the cloth real body without weight, draping with an easy elegance through the leg. The Classic Trouser is plain-fronted, high-rise, and cut to sit just below the navel, with a straight leg that has a relaxed flow while staying close at the top. Two-inch waistband, long extension, and pistol side adjusters for a fit that holds all day. Pair with the Contemporary Notch Jacket in the same cloth for the full suit.
About the block
Our classic gentlemen’s trouser developed in 2023 is clean and close around the top but fuller through the knee and hem. This trouser is both comfortable and timelessly elegant, and with its 2” waistband with a long extension and side adjusters, it sits beautifully on an elegant shoe or rests naturally on a trainer.
Cloth information
A clean, warm tan woven in Italy from 100% wool with a subtle twill construction that gives the cloth a pleasing body and texture without adding weight. At 260g per metre it sits in that ideal middle ground — substantial enough to hold its shape and drape well, light enough to wear with ease. The colour has a freshness to it that works across a long season, and the twill weave adds just enough visual interest to lift it beyond a plain suiting cloth.

Made to order garments are based on our ready to wear garment measurements, as seen on our size guide. This option allows you to order an out of stock garment to be created for you specially - without changes to measurements or style. This service is predominantly for existing customers who are familiar with how our garments fit, but require a size that is unavailable or sold out in store.
Standard make time for Made to Order garments is 6-8 weeks, though express options and associated fees are available. For express items, please contact the team.
Made to Measure garments are priced slightly higher than Made to Order and will require a consultation with one of our team. Existing customers can just email us to order a made to measure garment.
