Edward Sexton tours America twice a year with The London Collective, a group of like-minded British artisans, who all create bespoke goods. We regularly travel with Budd Shirtmakers, shoemakers Gaziano & Girling and E.B. Meyrowtiz, spectacle makers.
During trunk shows, we hold appointments for clients to place orders or fit work-in-progress garments, but we also host relaxed drinks parties in each of the five cities we visit. These are an informal environment for curious parties or prospective clients to meet with us, ask questions, and get a better understanding of what we do, without any pressure to place an order. We publish details of these drinks parties a few weeks before we leave for the US.
When we travel, we are limited in the sample garments and fabric swatches we can bring with us, so if you have something specific in mind, please do let us know before we travel. If we know you’re looking for a particular cloth, design or colour, we can bring some options with us for you.
Please remember when you book in with us that Savile Row Bespoke and Offshore Bespoke commissions require multiple fittings, which means that suits often require fittings across one or two trunk shows, unless you can see us in London between our visits to the US.
If you place an order during our spring trunk show, we will fit the garment during our autumn trunk show and then ship it to you once it’s finished. We advise US clients to wear a garment for a while once it’s been shipped, and then see us on our next trunk show visit, so we can check the garment has settled into the body properly.
We visit LA, Dallas, Chicago, Washington D.C. and New York City on our trunk shows with the London Collective. We also visit New York independently, a third time in the year.
