Silver Linen Blend Oxford Bag Suit
Description
Cool, elegant, and impossible to ignore - the silver linen blend suit in this configuration makes a genuine statement. The earthy silver cloth has a slubby, organic texture that gives it depth and character, while the linen keeps it light and fresh through the warmth. The Low Double Breasted Jacket's clean geometric lines and strong shoulder provide a precise, modern authority; the Oxford Bags bring the drama - full, flowing, and rich with movement. A suit for someone who understands that real elegance and real confidence are the same thing.

Jacket Block
The Low Double-Breasted Jacket fastens at the hip, which has its roots in the 1930s and ‘40s, seen in films that Edward long admired like Casablanca. This style too relies on the delicate balancing of proportions. The lower buttoning point and subtly extended shoulder line focus the eyes on the shoulder and hip rather than accentuating the waist. This creates a louche, masculine, and fluid silhouette. We cut these jackets slightly looser in the body and without rear vents, true to their Art Deco archetypes.

Trouser Block
With roots dating back to the 1920's these trousers began life as a comfortable garment for students of Oxford university, before finding their place as a staple in 40's swing dance halls, and again in 1970's soul movements. With heritage running through from old school university wealth to dance and music, these trousers are truly a little piece of history.
Cloth information
An earthy silver with a slubby, textured finish that gives this cloth a natural depth and organic character. Woven in Italy from 60% wool and 40% linen, the two fibres balance each other beautifully - the linen brings lightness, breathability, and that distinctive dry handle; the wool provides structure, recovery, and the drape that keeps the cloth looking sharp through a long day. At 235g per metre it sits perfectly for the warmer months, with enough body to hold its shape without ever feeling heavy. 60% wool, 40% linen, 235g/m², woven in Italy. Dry clean.
