Description
Rich and nostalgic. A new development in the Edward Sexton unstructured block — fuller, more British, and more refined than ever before. This earthy blend check with a red and yellow overcheck has a busy, characterful surface that is surprisingly easy to wear, the colours warm and grounded enough to pair naturally with a wide range of shirts and trousers. Half lined with minimal canvas, a clean one-piece back with no centre back seam or side body, and patch pockets — a jacket that is as effortless to put on as it is to wear all day. Shown here in a size 40.

Jacket Block

Relaxed, elegant, and entirely at ease — the English Unstructured Jacket takes its inspiration from workwear and the quiet confidence of a draughtsman's jacket, reinterpreted through an Edward Sexton lens. Completely unstructured with no canvas at all, a one-piece back, and no side body, it is incredibly light and close to the body — a jacket that moves with you rather than around you. The slightly boxy, loose cut gives it an understated, creative ease, while the Sexton expression in the lapel ensures it never loses its sense of drama.

Cloth information

Warm and characterful. An earthy blend check woven in Italy from viscose, polyester, and elastane at 320g per metre, with a red and yellow overcheck running through it that gives it a rich, nostalgic quality and a real depth of colour. The viscose brings a soft, fluid handle; the elastane adds just enough ease and recovery to make it exceptionally comfortable to wear. Busy in pattern, earthy in tone, and surprisingly versatile in practice. 63% viscose, 36% polyester, 1% elastane, 320g/m², woven in Italy. Dry clean.
