Jacket Block
Notched lapels can look handsome too, particularly on business suits or sports jackets, which can afford to be a little more understated. We eschew slim lapels, whether peaked or notched, in favour of generous shapes that reinforce an hourglass silhouette. Adding a second button to a single-breasted jacket likewise softens its impact, but is nonetheless extremely elegant and can help to balance the slightly shorter, squarer proportions of notched lapels.
Cloth information
Subtle and intricate. A dark, flecky navy ground woven in Italy from 55% silk and 45% wool, carrying a complex geometric check in turquoise, warm brown, and a slight purple hue. At 290g per metre the cloth has a beautiful body and drape, and the silk brings a soft, rich lustre that catches the light with quiet warmth. The colours are dark enough that the pattern reads as refined and understated rather than bold — an intricate cloth that earns a second look. 55% silk, 45% wool, 290g/m², woven in Italy. Dry clean.

Made to order garments are based on our ready to wear garment measurements, as seen on our size guide. This option allows you to order an out of stock garment to be created for you specially - without changes to measurements or style. This service is predominantly for existing customers who are familiar with how our garments fit, but require a size that is unavailable or sold out in store.
Standard make time for Made to Order garments is 6-8 weeks, though express options and associated fees are available. For express items, please contact the team.
Made to Measure garments are priced slightly higher than Made to Order and will require a consultation with one of our team. Existing customers can just email us to order a made to measure garment.
