Description
Chic and effortless. A chocolate brown Low Double Breasted Jacket in a 100% wool crepe that moves with a fluid, relaxed ease and sheds creases naturally through wear. The crepe weave gives the cloth a rich texture and depth that lifts it well beyond a plain suiting fabric, while the deep, warm brown makes it one of the most versatile block colour separates in the collection. The single button, lower placement fastening and strong rope shoulder give it a clean geometric elegance — straight flat pockets and no vents keep the silhouette pure. Jacket Block

The Low Double-Breasted Jacket fastens at the hip, which has its roots in the 1930s and ‘40s, seen in films that Edward long admired like Casablanca. This style too relies on the delicate balancing of proportions. The lower buttoning point and subtly extended shoulder line focus the eyes on the shoulder and hip rather than accentuating the waist. This creates a louche, masculine, and fluid silhouette. We cut these jackets slightly looser in the body and without rear vents, true to their Art Deco archetypes.

Cloth information

Rich and textured. A deep, chocolatey brown woven in Italy from 100% wool in a crepe construction that gives it a lovely, tactile surface and a fluid, natural movement. At 280g per metre it has a real body and drape, and the crepe weave means creases tend to fall out naturally through wear — comfortable, elegant, and effortlessly easy to maintain. 100% wool, 280g/m², woven in Italy. Dry clean.
