Description
A Sexton staple reimagined in richly textured Donegal wool. The 570g cloth is a deep navy flecked with ecru and RAF blue, giving traditional British character with softness and depth. Cut in the signature bridge coat block, it features bold lapels and a collar that can be worn fastened high or turned down, jet flap and vertical jetted hand-warmer pockets, turn-back cuffs, and interior poacher’s pocket. Substantial, versatile, and refined dynamic in line yet grounded in tradition, this is classic Sexton outerwear.
About the block
The Edward Sexton Bridge Coat is an evolution on our signature greatcoat, cut to a knee length with the same collar and cuffs, and half-belt back. Tthe Bridge Coat features two jetted hand-warmer pockets and straight flap pockets at each hip, mirroring a classic naval peacoat. Edward refined this coat‚ pattern over many months to ensure it captures everything that makes our bespoke overcoats so unique. It's tailored with a full bespoke canvas construction and delicate topstitching along the lapels, front quarters and pocket flaps.

Made to order garments are based on our ready to wear garment measurements, as seen on our size guide. This option allows you to order an out of stock garment to be created for you specially - without changes to measurements or style. This service is predominantly for existing customers who are familiar with how our garments fit, but require a size that is unavailable or sold out in store.
Standard make time for Made to Order garments is 6-8 weeks, though express options and associated fees are available. For express items, please contact the team.
Made to Measure garments are priced slightly higher than Made to Order and will require a consultation with one of our team. Existing customers can just email us to order a made to measure garment.
