RAF Blue Suit
Description
RAF Blue Suit — Contemporary Notch Jacket & Classic Trouser. Discreet and quietly confident. An RAF blue suit in a rich, matte wool that is neither corporate nor bold — just beautifully considered. The colour sits in its own space, slightly unexpected without being unconventional, and the cloth's weight and fluid drape give both pieces a natural ease and crease resistance that make it genuinely effortless to wear. The Contemporary Notch Jacket is clean and precise; the Classic Trouser flows with a simple, modern elegance. A suit that pairs naturally with creams and browns and works across a wide range of occasions without demanding anything of the wearer. Shown here in a size 40 jacket and size 34 trouser. 98% wool, 2% Lycra, 360g/m², woven in Italy. Dry clean.

Jacket Block
Notched lapels can look handsome too, particularly on business suits or sports jackets, which can afford to be a little more understated. We eschew slim lapels, whether peaked or notched, in favour of generous shapes that reinforce an hourglass silhouette. Adding a second button to a single-breasted jacket likewise softens its impact, but is nonetheless extremely elegant and can help to balance the slightly shorter, squarer proportions of notched lapels.

Trouser Block
Our classic gentlemen’s trouser developed in 2023 is clean and close around the top but fuller through the knee and hem. This trouser is both comfortable and timelessly elegant, and with its 2” waistband with a long extension and side adjusters, it sits beautifully on an elegant shoe or rests naturally on a trainer.
Cloth information
Discreet and distinctive. A soft, matte RAF blue woven in Italy from 98% wool and 2% Lycra in a plain weave that carries just enough stretch for comfort and ease through a long day. At 360g per metre it has a rich weight and fluid drape that resists creasing beautifully. The colours in the yarn give the cloth a subtle, almost imperceptible texture that keeps it from reading as flat — dry to the hand and deeply comfortable to wear.
