Black Shawl Lapel Low Double-Breasted Contemporary Suit
Description
A classic dinner suit reimagined with Sexton poise. The double-breasted jacket features a matte silk grosgrain shawl lapel and jetted pockets, while the contemporary trousers offer a clean, modern line with a matching grosgrain side stripe. Together they create a sleek, dark silhouette - sharp, understated, and elegant, equally suited to black tie occasions or modern formalwear.

Jacket Block
The Low Double-Breasted Jacket fastens at the hip, which has its roots in the 1930s and ‘40s, seen in films that Edward long admired like Casablanca. This style too relies on the delicate balancing of proportions. The lower buttoning point and subtly extended shoulder line focus the eyes on the shoulder and hip rather than accentuating the waist. This creates a louche, masculine, and fluid silhouette. We cut these jackets slightly looser in the body and without rear vents, true to their Art Deco archetypes.
