We eschew slim lapels, whether peaked or notched, in favour of generous shapes that reinforce an hourglass silhouette. With roots dating back to the 1920's these trousers began life as a comfortable garment for students of Oxford university, before finding their place as a staple in 40's swing dance halls, and again in 1970's soul movements. With heritage running through from old school university wealth to dance and music, these trousers are truly a little piece of history.

Soft, smooth and comfortable to wear this 300gsm milled flannel is a good blend of cosy and light. The weight will carry you from early autumn right though to spring. Woven in Italy with in 100% wool, a melange of multiple shades of brown the cloth has a dark speckled finish.
