Micro Check Drape Jacket
Description
A subtle Sexton take on the British sports jacket. The cloth carries a fine quarter-inch check woven from black, RAF blue, red, and light tan, creating depth and texture up close while reading as a simple earthy tone from afar. Cut in the drape style, the jacket falls with softness through the chest and a natural line over the body. Versatile and understated, it shifts easily from casual to refined, with just enough Sexton edge to stand apart.
About the block
The Drape Jacket is inspired by the slightly softer and rounder jackets Edward first cut at Kilgour in the 1960s. Subtly extended shoulders with soft pads and a rich chest contribute to a jacket feeling supremely comfortable. We like to cut Drape Jackets in smooth gabardine, plush corduroy and heavy Irish linen – cloths that will change the character and improve with age. We also add a second button to our Drape Jackets to help balance their generous chest and shoulder line.

Made to order garments are based on our ready to wear garment measurements, as seen on our size guide. This option allows you to order an out of stock garment to be created for you specially - without changes to measurements or style. This service is predominantly for existing customers who are familiar with how our garments fit, but require a size that is unavailable or sold out in store.
Standard make time for Made to Order garments is 6-8 weeks, though express options and associated fees are available. For express items, please contact the team.
Made to Measure garments are priced slightly higher than Made to Order and will require a consultation with one of our team. Existing customers can just email us to order a made to measure garment.
