Smart and precise. A dark charcoal chalk stripe Classic Trouser in a substantial 100% wool that holds the stripe with complete authority through a clean, plain-fronted, high-rise cut. The mottled, soft colour of the stripe keeps it refined and elegant rather than bold. Plain bottoms. Shown here in a size 34.

Trouser Block
Our classic gentlemen’s trouser developed in 2023 is clean and close around the top but fuller through the knee and hem. This trouser is both comfortable and timelessly elegant, and with its 2” waistband with a long extension and side adjusters, it sits beautifully on an elegant shoe or rests naturally on a trainer.
Cloth information
Serious and refined. A dark charcoal ground with a mid-grey fine chalk stripe at a three-quarter inch repeat, woven in Italy from 100% wool at 340g per metre. Bold in proportion but soft and mottled in colour, the stripe has a quiet power that rewards a closer look without ever announcing itself. A real Savile Row cloth with all the authority and restraint the tradition demands. 100% wool, 340g/m², woven in Italy. Dry clean.

Made to order garments are based on our ready to wear garment measurements, as seen on our size guide. This option allows you to order an out of stock garment to be created for you specially - without changes to measurements or style. This service is predominantly for existing customers who are familiar with how our garments fit, but require a size that is unavailable or sold out in store.
Standard make time for Made to Order garments is 6-8 weeks, though express options and associated fees are available. For express items, please contact the team.
Made to Measure garments are priced slightly higher than Made to Order and will require a consultation with one of our team. Existing customers can just email us to order a made to measure garment.
