A double breasted thigh-length bridge coat in a dark, greeny-brown khaki wool and cashmere cloth that carries a quiet, considered nod to its military heritage without ever feeling utilitarian. The Sexton proportions give it a generous, refined presence; the cashmere in the cloth brings a warmth and softness that makes it as pleasurable to wear as it is striking to look at. About the block
The Edward Sexton Bridge Coat is an evolution on our signature greatcoat, cut to a knee length with the same collar and cuffs, and half-belt back. The Bridge Coat features two jetted hand-warmer pockets and straight flap pockets at each hip, mirroring a classic naval peacoat. Edward refined this coat‚ pattern over many months to ensure it captures everything that makes our bespoke overcoats so unique. It's tailored with a full bespoke canvas construction and delicate top stitching along the lapels, front quarters and pocket flaps.

Elegant and refined. A dark, greeny-brown khaki woven in Italy from 90% wool, 5% polyamide, and 5% cashmere at 620g per metre. Substantial and warm, with a quiet nod to its military heritage in the depth and richness of the colour. The cashmere brings a softness and refinement that lifts it well above a functional coating cloth; the polyamide adds strength and longevity. Made to order garments are based on our ready to wear garment measurements, as seen on our size guide. This option allows you to order an out of stock garment to be created for you specially - without changes to measurements or style. This service is predominantly for existing customers who are familiar with how our garments fit, but require a size that is unavailable or sold out in store.
Standard make time for Made to Order garments is 6-8 weeks, though express options and associated fees are available. For express items, please contact the team.
Made to Measure garments are priced slightly higher than Made to Order and will require a consultation with one of our team. Existing customers can just email us to order a made to measure garment.
