Description
Soft and playful. A mauve corduroy Drape Jacket with patch pockets and side vents that brings a touch of quiet colour to the winter wardrobe with a relaxed, considered ease. The cord is soft and earthy in tone, and the Drape block carries it with a flowing, generous character that feels effortless from the first wear. Pairs with the Classic Trouser in the same cloth for the full suit. Shown here in a size 40.

Jacket Block
The Drape Jacket is inspired by the slightly softer and rounder jackets Edward first cut at Kilgour in the 1960s. Subtly extended shoulders with soft pads and a rich chest contribute to a jacket feeling supremely comfortable. We like to cut Drape Jackets in smooth gabardine, plush corduroy and heavy Irish linen – cloths that will change the character and improve with age. We also add a second button to our Drape Jackets to help balance their generous chest and shoulder line.
Cloth information
Soft and playful. A mauve 100% cotton corduroy woven in Italy at 280g per metre with an elegantly proportioned wale and a lovely, soft handle. The colour is earthy enough to wear with ease and confidence without being excessively bold, sitting in that considered territory between expressive and understated. A genuinely wearable shade of mauve that adds a touch of quiet colour to the winter wardrobe. 100% cotton, 280g/m², woven in Italy. Dry clean.

Made to order garments are based on our ready to wear garment measurements, as seen on our size guide. This option allows you to order an out of stock garment to be created for you specially - without changes to measurements or style. This service is predominantly for existing customers who are familiar with how our garments fit, but require a size that is unavailable or sold out in store.
Standard make time for Made to Order garments is 6-8 weeks, though express options and associated fees are available. For express items, please contact the team.
Made to Measure garments are priced slightly higher than Made to Order and will require a consultation with one of our team. Existing customers can just email us to order a made to measure garment.
