About the block
A classic Savile Row single-breasted coat, done simply and done well. Three-quarter length, clean in its lines, and easy to wear — the Classic Coat is an elegant staple that asks nothing of the wearer except to put it on. The button positioning has been carefully considered to give maximum coverage and warmth while maintaining the sweeping Edward Sexton lapel shape, with its signature lapel buttonhole. A centre vent and straight flap pockets keep it neat and uncluttered on the outside; two internal breast pockets and a generous poacher's pocket take care of everything else. A four-button cuff finishes it with the same quiet attention to detail that runs through the whole coat. The kind of coat that never dates and always looks right.

A tonal navy woven in Italy from 80% wool and 20% cashmere at 610g per metre with a milled finish that gives it a beautiful, textured depth — the range of shades from deep dark navy to lighter navy creating a rich, complex surface that rewards a closer look. The cashmere brings genuine softness and warmth; the wool gives it the body and structure to hold its shape and drape with authority. Made to order garments are based on our ready to wear garment measurements, as seen on our size guide. This option allows you to order an out of stock garment to be created for you specially - without changes to measurements or style. This service is predominantly for existing customers who are familiar with how our garments fit, but require a size that is unavailable or sold out in store.
Standard make time for Made to Order garments is 6-8 weeks, though express options and associated fees are available. For express items, please contact the team.
Made to Measure garments are priced slightly higher than Made to Order and will require a consultation with one of our team. Existing customers can just email us to order a made to measure garment.
