Smart and expressive. A dark navy Drape Jacket with a slightly softer shoulder, more expression through the chest, and a flowing, relaxed construction that gives it a character distinct from the Heritage and Contemporary blocks. The yarn-dyed plain weave has a subtle tonal variation that adds quiet depth without disturbing the jacket's clean, dark elegance. Side vents. The Drape Jacket is inspired by the slightly softer and rounder jackets Edward first cut at Kilgour in the 1960s. Subtly extended shoulders with soft pads and a rich chest contribute to a jacket feeling supremely comfortable. We like to cut Drape Jackets in smooth gabardine, plush corduroy and heavy Irish linen – cloths that will change the character and improve with age. We also add a second button to our Drape Jackets to help balance their generous chest and shoulder line.

Simple and smart. The Classic Trouser in this dark navy plain weave wool is plain-fronted and high-rise, flowing with a clean, considered elegance through a straight leg. The cloth's crease resistance and natural spring back keep the line precise and sharp through a long day. Plain bottoms. Shown here in a size 34.

Our classic gentlemen’s trouser developed in 2023 is clean and close around the top but fuller through the knee and hem. This trouser is both comfortable and timelessly elegant, and with its 2” waistband with a long extension and side adjusters, it sits beautifully on an elegant shoe or rests naturally on a trainer.

Dark and versatile. A navy plain weave woven in England from 100% wool at 340g per metre with a slight twist to the yarn that gives it a subtle tonal variation and a natural spring back. Breathable, crease resistant, and yarn-dyed for a quiet depth of colour — a dark, smart cloth with all the hallmarks of a great English suiting fabric. 100% wool, 340g/m², woven in England.
