Description

Timeless and refined, the Navy low double-breasted jacket takes inspiration from the ease and elegance of the 1930's with long low and leafy design. Paired with the slightly full leg of the classic trouser, the suit has an air of ease and grace - whether at a cocktail party or in the boardroom.

Jacket Size
About the block

The Low Double-Breasted Jacket fastens at the hip, which has its roots in the 1930s and ‘40s, seen in films that Edward long admired like Casablanca. This style too relies on the delicate balancing of proportions. The lower buttoning point and subtly extended shoulder line focus the eyes on the shoulder and hip rather than accentuating the waist. This creates a louche, masculine, and fluid silhouette. We cut these jackets slightly looser in the body and without rear vents, true to their Art Deco archetypes.

Cloth information

Woven in Italy weighing 280g/m, this cloth has a crispness to the handle, movement and drape, performing very well in breathability and crease resistance. The subtle mesh texture adds depth and movement of colour to the cloth.
