Notched lapels can look handsome too, particularly on business suits or sports jackets, which can afford to be a little more understated. We eschew slim lapels, whether peaked or notched, in favour of generous shapes that reinforce an hourglass silhouette. Adding a second button to a single-breasted jacket likewise softens its impact, but is nonetheless extremely elegant and can help to balance the slightly shorter, squarer proportions of notched lapels.

Woven in Italy, weighing a mid-weight 290g, this cloth is an interesting blend of 49% linen, 39% Camel hair and 15% Cotton. The majority of this cloth being linen gives the jacket a coolness and contributes to the overall texture of the cloth. The Camel hair acts similarly to wool, adding drape, further breathability and a resistance to creasing, while finally the cotton adds durability and stiffness to the cloth, which keeps the lines sharp and the jacket structured.
