Pewter Cashmere Blend Greenwich Coat

A full-length coat with a big, generous presence and a relaxed, flowing ease that makes it entirely its own. The Greenwich is a modern interpretation of the great coat — rich in shape and movement, full and proud in its silhouette, but without a trace of the military about it. There is a quiet graphic geometry that runs through the whole coat — the rectangular 2x2 double breasted fastening, the clean triangular lapels, the rectangular half belt on the back, the long vertical of the box pleat, and the generous patch pockets all harmonise in a considered, architectural way that gives the coat a real coherence and character. The wide lapel is designed to be worn both open or turned up against the elements, and the generous seven-inch wrap gives it a real richness through the chest. Curved seams on the back echo the tradition of a morning coat, and the button-on half belt and box pleat give it ease and flow through the back. The patch pockets are sewn only a third of the way at the back and secured with a button at the top corner — undo it and drop your arms in with complete ease, or keep it buttoned to carry gloves or keep your hands warm. Two internal breast pockets and a poacher's pocket complete the picture. A coat with genuine presence, worn with complete ease.

Soft and substantial. A fresh, mid-grey woven in Italy from 90% wool and 10% cashmere at 720g per metre. Rich and warm with a lovely body and drape that carries its weight with quiet authority. The cashmere brings a refinement and softness to the handle that makes it immediately distinctive, while the wool gives it the structure and recovery to hold its shape through a long winter’s wear. A genuinely beautiful overcoating cloth. 90% wool, 10% cashmere, 720g/m², woven in Italy. Dry clean.
