Prince of Wales Drape Double-Breasted Jacket
Description
Timeless Savile Row elegance, worn with ease. The double-breasted drape jacket is a rare combination - the generous wrap and wide lapels of a two-by-three fastening, softened by the wider shoulders and relaxed, flowing chest of the drape cut. In this subtle Prince of Wales check it has a lightness and freshness that makes it as easy in the warmer months as it is authoritative in the boardroom. No out ticket pocket, side vents. Pair with the Heritage Trousers in the same cloth for the full suit.
About the block
The Double-Breasted Drape Jacket is inspired by the slightly softer and rounder jackets Edward first cut at Kilgour in the 1960s. Subtly extended shoulders with soft pads and a rich chest contribute to a supremely comfortable feel.
Cloth information
A subtle, elegant Prince of Wales check in 100% wool with a lightness that belies its composure. The check is refined rather than bold — the kind that reads as a quiet pattern from a distance and reveals its detail up close. Good crease recovery and an easy, breathable handle make it a natural choice for the warmer months. 100% Wool. 270g/m
