Trouser Details
• Soft grown-on waistband
• Belt loops sitting 1" below the top of the waistband, 1½" deep, accommodating a belt of ¾" to 1½" — ideally 1" to 1¼"
• Two forward-facing pleats, sewn down just below the belt line
• Straight inseam side pockets
• Double jetted hip pocket on the right with flap, hole and button
• Zip fly with hook-and-bar and button fastening
• Rich, full, generous flowing leg line
• 2" turn-up
• Inlay to let out the waist up to 2"
• Inlay to let out the fork 1"
• 2" of inlay in the hem to lengthen the trousers
Trouser Block
A trouser with the glamour of nineteen-twenties and thirties Hollywood running through every line — nostalgic in its inspiration, contemporary in its feel. The soft, grown-on waistband is cut a little looser through the waist to be drawn in with a belt, and is so light and easy that you barely know you are wearing it. We encourage customers to wear them slightly loose and draw the waist in gently with a belt — it helps the trouser flow and gives the leg line its full, rich movement. The belt loops sit an inch below the top of the trouser and are designed to accommodate a narrow belt — ideally between an inch and an inch and a quarter — keeping the waist clean, minimal, and considered. Two forward-facing pleats are sewn down just below the belt line to keep their shape and sit beautifully through the hip. The rich, full, flowing leg line has been updated with even more generosity, moving with an ease and drama that feels both relevant and entirely at home in the modern wardrobe. Straight slant inseam pockets keep the front clean and minimal. A genuine separate trouser that pairs as naturally with our Studio Jacket and unstructured jackets as it does with a more tailored piece — dressed up or dressed down, it always looks like a considered choice.

Made to order garments are based on our ready to wear garment measurements, as seen on our size guide. This option allows you to order an out of stock garment to be created for you specially - without changes to measurements or style. This service is predominantly for existing customers who are familiar with how our garments fit, but require a size that is unavailable or sold out in store.
Standard make time for Made to Order garments is 6-8 weeks, though express options and associated fees are available. For express items, please contact the team.
