Description
Soft and autumnal. A chocolate brown corduroy Drape Jacket with patch pockets and side vents that feels lived-in and easy from the moment you put it on. The wide-wale cord has a rich, tactile warmth that the Drape block carries beautifully, wide shoulders and a flowing chest giving it a relaxed, considered elegance that is the definition of an autumn winter classic. Pairs with the Classic Trouser in the same cloth for the full suit. Shown here in a size 40.

Jacket Block
The Drape Jacket is inspired by the slightly softer and rounder jackets Edward first cut at Kilgour in the 1960s. Subtly extended shoulders with soft pads and a rich chest contribute to a jacket feeling supremely comfortable. We like to cut Drape Jackets in smooth gabardine, plush corduroy and heavy Irish linen – cloths that will change the character and improve with age. We also add a second button to our Drape Jackets to help balance their generous chest and shoulder line.
Cloth information
Rich and autumnal. A wide-wale chocolate brown 100% cotton corduroy woven in Italy at 380g per metre. Soft, rich, and deeply tactile, it has a warm, chocolatey depth that makes it one of the most inviting cloths in the collection. Substantial without stiffness, with a natural softness that makes it feel lived-in from the first wear. 100% cotton, 380g/m², woven in Italy. Dry clean.

Made to order garments are based on our ready to wear garment measurements, as seen on our size guide. This option allows you to order an out of stock garment to be created for you specially - without changes to measurements or style. This service is predominantly for existing customers who are familiar with how our garments fit, but require a size that is unavailable or sold out in store.
Standard make time for Made to Order garments is 6-8 weeks, though express options and associated fees are available. For express items, please contact the team.
Made to Measure garments are priced slightly higher than Made to Order and will require a consultation with one of our team. Existing customers can just email us to order a made to measure garment.
